Many sulphide ores are very important and they are metal ores. The oxidation state of metal ions with anion is + 2. The correct answer is B. Complete answer: Sulphide ores will contain mainly sulphide ions. They are very economic and are easy to extract from the rocks. They are basically rocking which contain sulphide ions in large parts. The sulfide minerals are a class of minerals containing sulfide or per sulfide as the major anion. Some sulfide minerals are economically essential as metal ores. The sulfide class also includes the selenides, the tellurides, the arsenide, the antimonides, the bismuth ides, the sulfosalts. Sulfide minerals are inorganic compounds. Examples of Sulphide ores are Galena and Zinc Blende, Copper Glance, Iron pyrite, Cinnabar, Argentite or the silver glance. Also, all metal ores are minerals whereas all minerals are not metal ores. The substances that are occurring in the natural form in earth crust are called minerals. Each mineral can’t be extracted easily. Adulterated material associated with ore is known as gangue or also called as matrix. The large parts are crushed into smaller pieces using Jaw-crushers. The process of converting into fine powder is called pulverization using stamp mills. Note: The metals ores are mostly rows which can or not be suitable for extraction. Removing unwanted materials from ore is called ore concentration. They are also known as ore dressing or also called ore benefaction. Crushing the smaller pieces into fine powder using stamp mills is known as pulverization. Minerals are found in the earth crust in a natural way.
