Perpendicular lines and intersecting lines are two different types of lines in geometry:

Perpendicular Lines:

Perpendicular lines are two lines that meet or intersect at a right angle (90 degrees).
In other words, the angle between the two lines is exactly 90°.
A common symbol used to indicate perpendicular lines is "⊥".
For example, if two lines are perpendicular, and one is horizontal, the other will be vertical.
Intersecting Lines:

Intersecting lines are two lines that meet or cross at any angle, not necessarily a right angle.
The key point here is that intersecting lines must meet at a point, but the angle between them can vary (it could be acute, obtuse, or 90°).
Intersecting lines are not necessarily perpendicular.
Difference:

The main difference is that perpendicular lines always intersect at a 90° angle, while intersecting lines can meet at any angle.
Perpendicular lines are a specific type of intersecting lines, but not all intersecting lines are perpendicular.
