When sulphuric acid is poured on copper plate, copper sulphate and hydrogen gas are produced. Copper + Sulphuric acid ——-> Copper sulphate + Hydrogen (gas). When iron nails are placed in copper sulphate solution, iron sulphate and copper are formed. Iron + Copper sulphate ——-> Iron sulphate + Copper
