Since lemon pickle is fundamentally an acid & aluminum is a metal and as we know, metals react with acids to produce hydrogen gas. So, it is not advisable to store lemon pickle in an aluminum utensil because it will spoil the lemon pickle and holes will be formed in the vessel. Hence, what you have written is absolutely right.
