Chloroplasts are the food producers of the cell. The organelles are only found in plant cells and some protists such as algae. Animal cells do not have chloroplastsChloroplasts work to convert light energy of the Sun into sugars that can be used by cells.

Hope it helps

chloroplastid, chloroplastid and leucoplastid are types of chloroplasts. no ,animal cells do not have chloroplast. chloroplast is present in plants it takes in carbon di oxide and sunlight which gets converted into glucose and and it gives out the oxygen.but in animals they eat plants which turn into glucose or sugar by the digestive juices in their body.
