Well, it depends on the tempreture of the water.

Water at:

  • 30°C is 0.9957 g cm-³
  • 4°C is 1.0000 g cm-³
  • 0°C is 0.9998 g cm-³

For finding out density of iron bar, we need to have mass and volume. Mass is given. To find out volume, take some water, measure it and then drop the iron bar. Amount of water displaced is the volume. Then you can find density of bar.
