1)The species which are unique to a specific region are known as endemic species. Sal and wild mango are two example of endemic flora and bison and flying squirels are examples of endemic fauna. 2)These are endemic species because their ecological requirements are met over a small area. they are not capable of moving to other suitable habitats.
