A real-life example of complementary angles can be found in the design of a triangle roof truss commonly used in architecture and construction. A triangle roof truss consists of two beams that meet at a peak, forming an angle. The beams on either side of the peak are often designed to be complementary angles.

Complementary angles are defined as two angles that add up to 90 degrees. In a triangle roof truss, the beams on either side of the peak are inclined at such angles that when they are connected, they form a right angle (90 degrees). The combination of these complementary angles helps distribute the weight and forces evenly across the structure, providing stability and support to the roof.
