the external dimensions of an open rectangular box are 98cm by 84 cm by 77 cm. If the wood is 2 cm thick all around find:
​i) the internal dimensions of the box
  1. )the internal volume of the box
  2. ) the volume of the wood used in making the box
  3. the weight of the box in kg correct to 1 cm3 of wood weighs 0.95g

First find out the the dimension of the internal box that will be nothing but subtract 4 from every dimension . These will be the new dimension of every sides.

Subtract the volumes of the boxes and you will get the answer.

Multiply the volume by 0.95g and you will get the answer
