if the area of a rhombus is 48cm^2 , and one of its diagonal is 5 cm . find its altitude

Dear Student,
If ABCD is a rhombus and diagonals AC and BD intersect at O, then
Area of rhombus = (1/2)*AC*BD. From here find the value of other diagonal.

Now consider triangle AOB. Since diagonals bisect each other at right angle.
From here, using phythogorous theorem, find AB,
and then finally use,
Area = Base * altitude. from here find the its altitude.
