we know that speed=distance/time
distance travelled= 240 km
time taken= 4 hrs
so speed, v= 240km/4 hrs= 60 km/hr
you can convert it into m/s by multiplying it with conversion factor 18/5
so speed in metre/sec= 60*18/5=216 m/s
