How would you classify things like rubber, leather, milk, cotton and paper. Are they living or non-living?Why?

hello pragathi, thanks for the ques.
note that although things like rubber, leather, milk, cotton and paper are organic (i.e, things derived/obtained from living things, for example milk comes from cow while cotton, paper and rubber from plants and trees, and leather comes from animal skin). but clearly these things are non living, because they dont respond to any external stimulus and dont ‘die’. obviously rubber, paper etc dont grow, reproduce breathe etc. so they CANNOT be living.
