let roots are a, b ,c 
required expression becomes (when taken LCM ) = (a^2 + b^2 + c^2 )/a^2 b^2 c^2
 
it can also be written as (a + b+ c)^2 – 2 ( ab + bc + ca) / (abc)^2
 
 = p^2 – 2q / r^2
 
Hence option (3) is correct.
