Fraction is defined as part of whole.
Fractions are written in form of p/q where p and q are whole numbers and q is not equal to 0.

A fraction simply tells us how many parts of a whole we have. You can recognize a fraction by the slash that is written between the two numbers. We have a top number, the numerator, and a bottom number, the denominator. For example, 1/2 is a fraction. ... So 1/2 of a pie is half a pie!

Hlo!! A fraction basically means a part of a whole and it constists of a numerator(up number) and denomitanor (down number)and in the middle a division hash.The fractions are very useful for finding out things like percentage and also can be used in concepts like unitary method.It is classified into many secions:like,unlike and mixed.Thank you
