You can feel the two magnets pushing each other apart. This pushing apart, repulsion, is a key way to tell ifyou have a magnet.

in my opinion to test the thing , the best way is to bring a iron piece near it , if it attracts it , then its s magnet and if no force is observed , then it’s an iron piece.
