Payal says that plants also go into hibernation. Is she correct? Give reasons.

We don’t use the word “hibernate” for plants - a better word is “dormant.” Most evergreens go into a dormancy in the winter, also. Many plants go into dormancy whenever the environment is missing something - for instance, many especially strong (or as some people say, hard-to-kill) houseplants can go into a kind of dormancy when the light is too low for normal metabolic functions.
