If the roots of a plant are shown to yoy, can you categorize the venation of the leaves without looking at them? If yes, explain how.

If the root is a FIBROUS ROOT(mat of thread like roots just below the soil surface) then it is a MONOCOT PLANT. and monocots have PARALLEL VENATION in leaves.
 
If the root is a TAP ROOT(one long main root which goes deep into the solil and small branches arising from it) then the plant is a DICOT PLANT. And dicot plants have RETICULATE VENATION of leaves.
 
Thus you can identify the venation of leaves by looking at roots.
