We can separate wheat, sugar and husk from their mixture by following the processes:-
(1)  Separate wheat from the mixture by the process of winnowing. In the process of winnowing, wind is used. The lighter particles (husk particles) fly away whereas heavy particles(wheat and sugar form a heap.
(2)  Separate wheat and sugar by the process of seiving. In this process, the smaller particles( sugar) pass through the sieve whereas the larger particles(wheat) remain on the sieve.
