If the leaves of the plant show PARALLEL VERNATION (veins are arranged parallel to each other and never join, no bramching is sees in the veins) then the plant is MONOCOT and will have FIBROUS ROOTS
if the leaves show RETICULATE VENATION(veins are arranged in a net like pattern on both sides of the midrib) then it is a DICOT PLANT and has TAP ROOTS
