(B). Holes only

In a p-type semiconductor, the majority charge carriers are holes. A p-type semiconductor is created by doping a pure semiconductor material (like silicon or germanium) with a trivalent impurity, which has one less valence electron than the semiconductor atoms. As a result, the impurity atoms create "holes" in the crystal lattice where there is an absence of valence electrons.

These holes can move through the material when an external electric field is applied. While there are some electrons present in a p-type semiconductor, they are in much smaller numbers compared to the holes, making holes the dominant charge carriers in this type of semiconductor.
