Class limits are the values that define the range of each class interval in a frequency distribution. In statistics, when organizing data into intervals (called classes), the class limits specify the boundaries of these intervals.

There are two types of class limits:

Lower class limit: This is the smallest value that can belong to a particular class interval. It represents the beginning of the interval.

Upper class limit: This is the largest value that can belong to a particular class interval. It represents the end of the interval.

For example, if we have a class interval of 10-20, then:

The lower class limit is 10.
The upper class limit is 20.
The class limits help to categorize continuous data into discrete intervals for easier analysis and representation in frequency distributions.
