Improving Appearance: Electroplating can enhance the aesthetic qualities of objects, such as jewelry, by coating them with precious metals like gold or silver.

Improving Conductivity: Electroplating is used in electronics to improve conductivity. For example, electronic connectors and circuits may be plated with gold or silver to improve their performance and reduce electrical resistance.
