Three types of energy are:

Kinetic Energy: Kinetic energy is the energy of motion. It is associated with the movement of an object and depends on its mass and velocity. The formula for kinetic energy is KE = 0.5 * m * v^2, where KE represents kinetic energy, m represents mass, and v represents velocity.

Potential Energy: Potential energy is energy that is associated with the position or state of an object. It is the energy stored within an object due to its height, position, or other factors. There are different types of potential energy, including gravitational potential energy (related to an object's height in a gravitational field) and elastic potential energy (related to the stretching or compression of materials like springs). The formula for gravitational potential energy is GPE = m * g * h, where GPE represents gravitational potential energy, m represents mass, g represents the acceleration due to gravity, and h represents height.

Thermal Energy: Thermal energy, also known as heat energy, is the energy associated with the motion of particles within a substance. It is a form of internal energy that arises from the temperature of an object. The higher the temperature of an object, the greater its thermal energy. Heat can be transferred from one object to another through processes such as conduction, convection, and radiation.

These are just a few examples of the many types of energy that exist in the physical world, and energy can be transformed from one type to another in various processes.
