The acceleration of a particle in uniform circular motion is constant in magnitude but variable in direction.

In uniform circular motion, an object moves in a circular path at a constant speed. Because the object is changing direction as it moves around the circle, it is constantly accelerating toward the center of the circle. This acceleration is called centripetal acceleration.

The magnitude of the centripetal acceleration is given by the formula:

a = v² / r

Where:

"a" is the centripetal acceleration.
"v" is the constant speed of the object.
"r" is the radius of the circular path.
As you can see, the magnitude of the acceleration depends on the speed of the object and the radius of the circle, but it remains constant as long as these two factors do not change. However, the direction of the acceleration is always toward the center of the circle, which is constantly changing as the object moves around the circle. Therefore, the acceleration in uniform circular motion is constant in magnitude but variable in direction.
