Δz is the difference between the initial and final positions along the z-axis (applicable in three-dimensional space).
If you are working in two-dimensional space, the formula simplifies to:

Magnitude of Displacement = √((Δx)² + (Δy)²)

To use this formula, ensure that the initial and final positions are measured in the same units (e.g., meters) and that the coordinate axes are consistent.

For example, if an object moves from point A with coordinates (3, 5) to point B with coordinates (8, 10), you can calculate the magnitude of displacement as follows:

Δx = 8 - 3 = 5
