In simple harmonic motion (SHM), the maximum velocity can be calculated using the following formula:

v_max = A * ω

where:

v_max is the maximum velocity,
A is the amplitude of the motion,
ω (omega) is the angular frequency.
The angular frequency ω is given by:

ω = 2πf

where:

ω is the angular frequency,
π is a mathematical constant approximately equal to 3.14159,
f is the frequency of the motion.
If you know the period (T) instead of the frequency, you can calculate the angular frequency using:

ω = 2π / T

Once you have determined the angular frequency ω, you can substitute it into the first equation to find the maximum velocity v_max.
