An object is moving with acceleration but with uniform speed. Is it possible or not?Give examples.

No, it is not possible for an object to have both acceleration and uniform speed simultaneously. Uniform speed means that the object is moving with a constant velocity, maintaining the same speed and direction. On the other hand, acceleration refers to the rate of change of velocity, which can be a change in speed, direction, or both.

If an object is experiencing acceleration, its velocity must be changing. It can be either speeding up or slowing down or changing direction. In all these cases, the object cannot maintain a uniform speed.

Here are some examples to illustrate this:

A car moving in a straight line with a constant speed of 60 mph cannot have acceleration. If it accelerates, its speed will change over time, so it won't be moving with a uniform speed anymore.

A satellite orbiting the Earth at a constant speed cannot have acceleration in the direction of its orbit. However, it will experience centripetal acceleration toward the center of the Earth, constantly changing its direction. Therefore, it's not moving with uniform speed.

A ball thrown vertically upwards with a constant initial speed will experience acceleration due to gravity. Its speed will decrease as it goes up, come to a momentary halt at its peak, and then speed up as it falls back down. So, it won't have uniform speed throughout its motion.

In conclusion, an object cannot have both acceleration and uniform speed at the same time, as acceleration requires a change in velocity, which contradicts the notion of uniform speed.
