C. Graphite

Graphite is a good conductor of electricity. It consists of layers of carbon atoms arranged in a hexagonal lattice structure, and the carbon atoms in each layer are bonded together with strong covalent bonds. However, the layers themselves are held together by weaker van der Waals forces, allowing electrons to move freely within the layers, making graphite an excellent conductor of electricity. In contrast, materials like charcoal, coke, and diamond do not conduct electricity as effectively because of differences in their atomic structures.
