Reactants Presence:

Reactant molecules must collide with an orientation that allows the necessary bonds to break and new bonds to form. Not all collisions lead to a reaction; they must be oriented correctly.
Sufficient Energy (Activation Energy):

The colliding molecules must have enough kinetic energy to overcome the activation energy barrier, which is the minimum energy required for a reaction to occur. This is often provided by heat.
Collision Frequency:

The reactants must collide frequently enough for the reaction to proceed at a noticeable rate. Increasing the concentration of reactants typically increases collision frequency.
Suitable Reaction Medium:

The environment or medium in which the reaction occurs must be conducive to the reactants interacting. This includes the solvent in solution reactions, where the solvent can affect the solubility and mobility of reactants.
Catalyst (Optional):
