You can calculate the number of moles from molarity and volume by using the formula:

Number of moles (n) = Molarity (M) × Volume (V)

Where:

Number of moles (n) is the amount of substance in moles.
Molarity (M) is the concentration of the solution in moles per liter (mol/L or M).
Volume (V) is the volume of the solution in liters (L).
Simply multiply the molarity of the solution by the volume in liters to find the number of moles of solute present in the solution. This formula is derived from the definition of molarity, which is the number of moles of solute per liter of solution.
