The reproductive part of a plant is called the flower. The flower is responsible for the production of seeds through the process of pollination and fertilization. It contains the reproductive organs of the plant, including the male parts called stamens (consisting of the filament and anther) that produce pollen, and the female part called the pistil (consisting of the stigma, style, and ovary) that receives pollen and houses the ovules. Once the ovules are fertilized, they develop into seeds within the ovary, and the ovary eventually matures into a fruit.
