Fish: Various species of fish inhabit freshwater environments, including trout, salmon, bass, catfish, carp, and tilapia.

Amphibians: Frogs, toads, salamanders, and newts are examples of amphibians that live in freshwater habitats.

Reptiles: Some freshwater habitats are home to reptiles such as turtles, alligators, crocodiles, and various species of snakes.

Mammals: Animals like otters, beavers, muskrats, and certain species of dolphins and manatees can be found in freshwater environments.

Invertebrates: Freshwater habitats support a wide range of invertebrates including insects like mosquitoes, dragonflies, mayflies, and damselflies, as well as crustaceans like crayfish and freshwater shrimp.

These are just a few examples, as freshwater habitats are incredibly diverse and support a wide array of life.
