It is an endothermic reaction because in this plants use energy to change CO2 and water into glucose and O2.

Photosynthesis is an endothermic reaction as energy(sunlight) is used by the green plants to break the water molecule into H+ and O-2 ions.It also includes reduction of atmospheric CO2 into carbohydrates(glucose).
