The trophic levels are divided based on the food habits
and transfer of energy from one animal (organisms) to other animal (organisms)

Beacause of 10% law. Only 10% energy from each trophic level gets transferred to other trophic level. So as the no. Of tropic level increases , the amount of energy transferred decreases. Thats why the no. Of trophic level is only 3-4.
