The general assembly of U.N.O. also known as parliament of U.N.O. comprises of 193 members state and is responsible for making efficient and deliberate policies such as U.N budget appointing non permanent members to the security council , appointing general secretary of united nation, receiving report from other part ofU.N. system and making recommendations through resolutions. Complete Solutions: The United Nations is an intergovernmental organisation that aims to maintain international peace and security developed friendly relations among nations. Achieve international cooperation and be the center for harmonising the action of nations. The headquarters of UNO is located in New York city it has 193 member states and 2 observer states. It was formed after World war 2. The main organs of the UN are The General Assembly, The Security Council, The Economic and Social Council, The Trusteeship Council, International Court of Justice. In the general assembly each session is planned upto 7 month in advance with the release of a preliminary list of items to be included in the provisional agenda. Items on agenda are numbered. Voting in the general assembly with certain important questions namely peace, security, budget, election, admission of members is by two-third majority. Note: General assembly is one of the organs of the U.N.O. although the resolution passed by the general assembly does not have the binding forces of the member nation.
