The general assembly of U.N.O. also known as parliament of U.N.O. comprises of 193 members state and is responsible for making efficient and deliberate policies such as U.N budget appointing non permanent members to the security council , appointing general secretary of united nation, receiving report from other part ofU.N. system and making recommendations through resolutions. In the general assembly each session is planned upto 7 month in advance with the release of a preliminary list of items to be included in the provisional agenda. Items on agenda are numbered. Voting in the general assembly with certain important questions namely peace, security, budget, election, admission of members is by two-third majority. Note: General assembly is one of the organs of the U.N.O. although the resolution passed by the general assembly does not have the binding forces of the member nation.
