(C) Blue

Blue light is scattered the most (maximum) in the Earth's atmosphere. This phenomenon, known as Rayleigh scattering, is responsible for the blue color of the sky during the daytime. Blue light is scattered more than other colors because it has a shorter wavelength, and shorter wavelengths are scattered more efficiently by small particles and molecules in the atmosphere. Red light, with its longer wavelength, is scattered less and is why the sky often appears red or orange during sunrise and sunset when the sunlight has to pass through more of the Earth's atmosphere.
