Dear student,
This system did not distinguish between the eukaryotes and prokaryotes, unicellular and multicellular organisms and photosynthetic (green algae) and non-photosynthetic (fungi) organisms. There are some organisms which neither fall into plant nor animal kingdom like Lichens.
