What are the differences between inner and outer planets?

The Planet which is close to sun is called inner Planet, These planet are ,made up of Rocks, Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars are the planets closest to the Sun. They are called the inner planets. The outer planets are Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune.
