Two. When you have two right-angled mirrors, each mirror has two images. An image formed by the reflection of light off of itself only, and an image formed by reflecting the reflected light of the other mirror. When something is reflected once (the first image on each mirror) it flips, causing the man to appear to be raising his left hand. When reflected twice (The second image on each mirror, where the reflection is reflected) the image returns to its original state, causing him to appear to be raising his right hand again. Therefore, where 1 and 2 are the real mirrors and 3 and 4 are “imaginary” mirrors created by the dual reflection, only 3 and 4 show the man raising his right hand.
