heater does not get hot enough to benefit from the expense of using tungsten wire.

Most heaters use either wire made of an alloy called nichrome or plated ceramic heating elements.

Heaters generally operate at red or orange heat (i.e. 1409F to 1908F) and can use Nichrome wires
