i have a difficulty in a question... kindly help me....
  1. A body is falling freely. if the displacement in the last second is equal to the first 3 seconds, find the time of free fall..???

The time of free fall is 4 seconds.
According to Galileo’s law, "When a body falls freely, the distance covered in each second is equal to the ratio of consecutive odd numbers.”
E.g:- Let t1, t2, t3 & t4 are the distances covered in 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th second by a freely falling body . Then  t1 : t2 : t3 : t4 = 1:3:5:9.
Thus, if distance covered in last second is equal to that of 1st 3 seconds, then it must be 9 = 1+3+5
Thus te time of free fall is 4 seconds
