Dear student,

Part 1: Definition - Human Excretory System
In humans, the excretory system takes care of waste generation and elimination.
It comprises of the following structures:
  2 Kidneys
  2 Ureters
  1 Urinary bladder
  1 Urethra

Part 2 - Role of the kidney in urine formation
Kidneys are the primary organ of the human excretory system.
The kidneys remove waste products called urea along with extra water and ions from the blood to form urine through tiny filtering units called nephrons.
The nephron is the functional unit of a kidney.
Each kidney consists of millions of nephrons.

Part 3 - Route followed by urine

There is one ureter that comes out of each kidney carries urine from the kidneys to the bladder.
The urinary bladder stores the urine until micturition.
The urethra is a tube that arises from the urinary bladder. Its function is to expel the urine outside by micturition.

Part 4: Conclusion
From the above discussion, we are able to conclude that urine is formed in the kidney and travels out of the kidneys through the ureters to be stored in the bladder.
When a person urinates, the urine exits the bladder and goes out of the body through the urethra.

Final step: The correct path of urine in our body is
Kidney → Ureter → Urinary bladder → Urethra
