Nitrogen atomic number 7 → 2, 5
Phosphorus atomic number 15 → 2, 8, 5
Nitrogen with two shells will be more electronegative because it can easily gain electron due to its smaller size of atom, the nuclear charge attracts the electron easily to become negative ion.
