is it possible that fertilisation will takes place during menstruation cycle?

Mestruation involves loss of blood at the end of an ovulatory cycle,which usually happens when egg is not fertilized by an sperm.Mostly release of an egg occur around the fourteenth day of cycle of each month.However,before the egg is released, hormones of an woman’s body will begin to increase in order to properly prepare and thicken the uterine lining,so that if an egg is fertilized,it will be safely housed and nourished.If fertilization does not happen,then the uterine lining will be discarded alongwith egg as it survive only for 24 hrs,approximately fourteen days later with the menstrual blood.
Since sperm can survive in woman’s body for up to five days,so if ovulation occurs just after the period finishes,conception can occur from sex that occurred during the period.For women that do not have a strict 28 – 32 day menstrual cycle, falling pregnant during their period is easier.
