Add the resistors which are in series ( lets say R1 and R2) and then apply the parallel combination formula for (R1+R2) and R3.

Let R1, R2, and R3 be the resistors.
Now, 
Say R1 & R2 be the resistors in series and R3 be in parallel combination to R1 & R2.
So,
Req1(across R1 & R2)=R1+R2 ohm
So,
Req2(across the circuit)=1/Req1 + 1/R3
                                      ={1/(R1+R2) + 1/R3}ohm [Ans]

Let the resistor in series be R1 and R2 ..first add them up and obtain the result and the arrange it with parellel one and sum up
