Dear Student

•Copper and aluminium are much more easily and cheaply available than other metals.
•They offer low resistance and do not get heated.
•They can be easily made into wires due to high malleability.

Copper and aluminium are good conductors of electricity. They have very low resistance and allow the current to flow through them easily. Hence, they are used to make wires for electrical transmissions.
