no the virtual image is always erect in nature where as the real image ehich is caught on the screen is inverted.for example the face in the mirror is virtual and the image of candle light on the cloth is real.

Actually, the thing is that virtual images are always erect and can never be formed on ascreen.Whereas, a real image is always inverted and that is why it can be formed on a screen.
