Dear student,
Concepts are application based ‘mantras’ , such tools which can help you solve numericals. Suppose there is a principle regarding laws of motion, now dont by-heart it, just try to get well acquainted with whatever is written in the concept, and whenever there is a question thrown in front of you regarding that very topic , try to solve it using the concept you have studied.

Definitions are to be memorised well, and only direct fact based question can only appear from that.
A balance of approach is required to solve both kinds of sums.
