Dear student,
This reaction is a compbustion reaction. Either Ammonia on its own or in in an aqueous medium reacts with chlorine to form nitrogen and hydro chloric acid (in aqueous medium it forms ammonium chloride). If excess of chlorine is present, then nitrogen tri chloride is also formed.
