Ans:

$2x^{2}+ax-a^{2}=0$

$2x^{2}+2ax-ax-a^{2}=0$

$2x(x+a)-a(x+a)=0$

$(2x-a)(x+a)=0$

$x = \frac{a}{2}, -a$
